Gelora Bung Karno for Syariah securities

The goverment decide to give warranty on Gelora Bung Karno for 55 quintillion Rupiah for next year syariah marketable secuirities planning. Rahmat Waluyanto as general director for credit fund menagement at Departement of finance explain that the goverment has come to conclusion to use Gelora Bung Karno infrastructure as an underlying asset for establishing next year syariah securities wether for retail bussines or other kinds of securities.
"The loan syariah securities is for domestic and abroad, retail and non retail", he said that during Strategic Investment and Credit Funds Program for 2009 forum.
Not only Gelora Bung Karno he also said that the goverment is still trying to consider any other public assets that good enough along with the syariah obligation principal for additional syariah securities.
"It is a must to reconsider every asset that might be useful and helpful for establishing syariah securities because it have different purpose. Hotel and bar were not included."
Hadiyanto, genereal director for Public Assets revealed that the inventorization for public assets has reached for 540 quintillion Rupiah up to first semester 2008. Part of inventory assets that fulfill the syariah principal will be used as underlying assets for establishing next year syariah securities wether for retail bussines or other kinds of securities.
